Located in Louisville Downtown, the latest Omni Hotel is a mixed use development featuring luxury amenities such as ballrooms, fitness centers, restaurants and more. The building is an modern architectural feat that seamlessly blends into its historical surroundings. The hotel is made of 3 concrete blocks stacked on top of each other; the middle block is stacked perpendicular to the other 2 – creating a unique sculptural design.

Pro-Bel Technical Solution

Our solution for this structure is a combination of roof anchors, standard davits arms, a custom long reach davit arm and horizontal rigging sleeves . The 3rd storey roof is fitted with weld to structure roof anchors for fall protection and window washing, and an anchor and davit system provides façade access on the 16th storey roof. On the 30th storey roof, custom curved horizontal rigging sleeves provide façade access, and 2 horizontal lifeline systems provide fall protection to safetly access the narrow sections of the roof that place workers near the roof edge, within the retricted fall hazard area. Cast in Flush Mounted Intermittent Stabilization Anchors are installed on the façade every 3rd level, starting at level 5.
