OSHA-compliant, reliable roof tie-off anchors are designed for maximum worker safety.

Permanent roof anchors, or tieback anchors, are a key component of horizontal lifeline fall protection systems and serve as a failsafe fall-arrest system in suspended access.

Whether they’re part of a rooftop fall protection system or a tieback anchor for suspended access, these anchors have to be positioned strategically to ensure workers’ safety and full code compliance. This layout needs to be designed by a qualified profession which Pro-Bel can help you with.

Although roof anchors are most commonly associated with horizontal fall protection or as fall arrest, they can also be used as suspended access for mid-rise buildings or buildings with a drop distance of under 90 meters.

When used as suspended access systems, the layout must be in pairs with an offset angle, while still aligning with all windows that cannot be cleaned from the ground.

Secure Your Rooftop Work with Top-Quality Permanent Roof Anchors

When used for fall protection, rooftop anchor points secure workers to the roof surface via a horizontal lifeline, preventing them from approaching the roof edge too closely. On buildings over 1 story with a parapet below 42 inches, this permanent roof anchor solution eliminates the risk of a fall.

Roof anchors can be used for suspended access on buildings with a drop distance of less than 90 meters. The anchor points used for suspension are lined up near the roof edge, with additional anchor points lined up perpendicularly at an offset angle to host the worker’s lifeline.

Why Choose Our Permanent Roof Anchors?

Pro-Bel doesn’t simply sell roof anchors- we’re a full turnkey company. We design, engineer, manufacture, install, and inspect our equipment. We patented the first roof anchor in North America, and it’s been a staple in the industry ever since.

    Multi-purpose Application

    • The anchorage point of a horizontal lifeline system
    • As a suspended access system for buildings under 90 meters
    • Acting as a secure, single tie-off for new construction and permanent installations.
    • A structural attachment for lifelines when the main suspension system is a different form of equipment.
