Engineered Fall Protection Systems
A fall protection system refers to a horizontal tie-back system in which rooftop workers attach themselves to provide fall restraint when working from heights.
Fall Prevention Guardrails
Guardrails are a staple of fall protection. Guardrails are typically installed in areas where workers are within 6 feet of the roof edge, and there is no parapet over 42” present.
Horizontal Cable Lifeline Systems
Pro-Bel's horizontal lifeline system is meant for workers who require a lot of horizontal mobility within proximity to a vertical drop. It’s typically implemented when single point anchors prove insufficient, and a multiple point anchor system is needed.
Industrial Fall Protection
The main forms of fall protection implemented are fall restraint, fall arrest, and fall prevention. Pro-Bel supplies separate engineered fall protection solutions for each type of fall protection.
Monorail Hoist System
A monorail system is track that’s typically installed for hard-to-reach glass surfaces such as atriums, domes, sloped glaze/skylighting of the area under an overhang.
Rigid Rail Fall Protection System

Fall Protection Window Washing Systems
Window washing equipment for fall protection refers to a system installed into the building’s structure that facade maintenance employees use to suspend themselves down buildings. Suspended maintenance workers attach their suspension lines and lifelines to the equipment to ensure there’s no risk of an accidental fall or injury.
Building Maintenance Units (BMUs)
Powered roof cars, also known as BMUs, are required to wash windows on vertical drops over 150 meters (492 feet). Pro-Bel only installs powered roof cars within Ontario.
Intermittent Stabilization Anchors (ISAs)
Stabilization systems are used to keep platforms (such as powered platforms, single cages, and Bosun’s chairs) in contact with a building’s facade without any unnecessary movement.
Outrigger Beam
Pro-Bel's outrigger beams are installed when there’s sufficient in-board distance or a fragile parapet in place. They can suspend powered platforms, single cages, or Bosun’s chairs.
Permanent Access Platforms
